Girls have size’s 0-16 (for most stores), and guys don’t have this form of sizing, just the size of their waists.First of all, it’d be easier to purchase jeans from different stores. A US size 2 at one store may not be the same as a US size 2 from another store. However, if you measure at 26 inches at the waist at one store, you’ll most likely still be 26 inches at another store.Secondly, stores wouldn’t have to change their standard of sizings. A size 2 now was a size 8 at some point in history. Again, 26 inches is still 26 inches.
I also think removing the current standard of sizing for girls (sizing 0-16) would be better psychologically for girls.

It would be easier for those who work in retail that do not know girl’s sizing as well…….
